During the year we participate in various events to raise money for charities. The number of charities we support varies, and Help4Heroes, the Royal Navy Benevolent Fund and the RNLI are some of our more recent charities.

Every year we take part in the annual student Torchers parade around Aberdeen which involves building a themed float on the back of a lorry and then driving around the city centre having coins thrown at (to?) us - all in the name of charity. Its all great fun - even when its raining and we seem the be the only society without a covered trailer!

At social events, there will often be raffles and other fundraising activities! Only recently we raised an astonishing £300 for the Royal Navy Benevolent Fund in a single night!
