How to Join
We mainly recruit at the start of the university year in late September, though a top-up intake is sometimes admitted in January. We will have a stand at the fresher's fayres of both universities, do come along and see us. Talk to us and we'll happily provide you with details of how to continue, or answer any questions you might have.

Next Steps
On the welcome night at the Unit you will be be asked to select an interview date and time, usually the Monday and Tuesday of the next week. After the night is finished please take the opportunity to speak to the current students and find out all about us, in a more relaxed environment - the bar!

On successful completion of the interview and a short medical examination, you will be a member of the best society around - make the most of it!

In your first term in the Unit, you will be free to take part in all the activities, and also there will be several items organised for your year group, including sea survival training, an induction weekend, and a kitting-up weekend. You will be strongly encouraged to attend these, and of course you get paid to go along!
